Took this picture this evening at the boys' request. I just can't look at it without laughing. They were so cute!

We were just coming home from the mall and Nick says, "MOM! LOOK! Take our picture!" And they were hugging like this, so of course I'll take their picture.

Then I said it.

"Say cheese!"

Cue canned smiles.

I love it.

No, that's actually a close-up of one of the wooden columns in my living room.

We live in an old house with some GREAT woodwork. But that old woodwork has been stained and shellacked so many times. It's kinda cool looking, ain't it?

Its officially 'hat and mitten' weather here in Wisconsin!

The other day, after coming home from school, Nick took his hat off and his hair was just sticking up on end! It was so funny looking! While you can't see his hair too well in this picture, he loved the idea that he looked silly. I asked him to pose for a picture and this is what he gave me!
