77/365: So proud!

Wow I'm behind on this project. I've been taking photos, and even uploading them to flickr, but I've spent a lot of time on my new blog design and updating the URL on my blog and have seriously slacked at getting this site updated. Eh...here goes!

73/365: Reindeer boy

reindeer boy

Took Nick to a class at our local Zoo today, to learn about reindeer. (Can you see his sweater? He insisted on wearing that.) He was so excited. He walked out into the hallway after class, where I was waiting to pick him up and he shouted, "MOM! We saw SANTA! And SANTA'S GRANDMA!!!" Uh, hon, that's Mrs. Claus.

52/365: CHEEEEESE!

crazy cheeseheads

Took this picture this evening at the boys' request. I just can't look at it without laughing. They were so cute!

We were just coming home from the mall and Nick says, "MOM! LOOK! Take our picture!" And they were hugging like this, so of course I'll take their picture.

Then I said it.

"Say cheese!"

Cue canned smiles.

I love it.

old wood

No, that's actually a close-up of one of the wooden columns in my living room.

We live in an old house with some GREAT woodwork. But that old woodwork has been stained and shellacked so many times. It's kinda cool looking, ain't it?
